Last name "Gerth" - am I going to run into problems name my kids?
Ok, I'm a big baby naming fanatic and I've had a list going since I was about 13 years old. I'm now 27 and recently married, planning to have kids in perhaps a year, but of course thinking of names names names. Our last name is Gerth and I just glanced at my most updated names list and I'm finding problems. Do you see any other problems with any other of my names in combo with the last name Gerth? Or am I just being crazy? In university my husband's last name was often joked about in reference to the "girth" of the male member... so that's the connotation I have in my head unfortunately.

I like them all, and I don't think a lot of people have the intelligence to pick that out. Plus I know a girl named Edith and her brother Eden with the last names Peters. So your names are not the worst. I love Avery for a boy though, and I think Violet Gerth has a nice ring to it, along with Henry Gerth.
