i have a 1yr.old wonderful pitbull YoGi{BeAr}.he is just like a baby.good breeding long bloodline CAMELOT.?
i think . i can't remember what the breeder told me.he is not mean at all,an inside pup as well.i also have 2 dotsons.1 male 6 months old,weighs about 3 or 4 pounds. my pit weighs 85 or so. but YoGi has made himself leader of the pack .which is not bad.but now he kinda gets upset over his toys . i would never part with any of the . i also have a cat that wonder up to my house when he was a kitten . he has a heated bed inside his house on my front porch. yogi doesn't like cats or other dogs. so he is never aload to go out front . yogi eats well with the othere dogs i have . i no long give them rawhides . sould i take the toys away as well.or what should i do?only give toys & rawhides if kept apart ?HELP HELP!!!!!!! pLeAsE pLeAsE
I KNOW THIS ALL TO WELL.
I HAD A POM RAISED WITH MY PITS FOR YEARS AND ONE DAY OUT OF THE BLUE SHE WAS EATING FROM THE BACKYARD DISH AS ALWAYS AND ONE OF LY PITS SNAPPED AND ALMOST KILLED HER. SHE SURVIVED BUT STUNNED ME THAT HE DID THIS. HE WAS ERAISED WITH MY CHILDREN AND MY POM FROM DAY ONE SINCE HE WAS 5 WEEKS OLD SO IT CAN HAPPEN THAT DANGER CAN OCCUR FOR WHATEVER REASON. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR OTHER PETS. JUST BECAUSE THE PIT SEEMS HARMLESS I LEARNED FROM EXPERIENCE THAT THEY CAN SNAP, AND HE NEVER DID THIS BEFORE. DONT FEED HIM OR GIVE TREATS ETC WHERE THE OTHER PETS CAN GET TO THEM, HE MAY ALSO GET SNIPPY AS HE MAY WELL BE ALREADYT CLOSE TO..AND I LOVE THIS BREED BUT BETTER TO BE CAUTIOUS THAN TAKE A CHANCE.
