Which diaper bag????
Ok...I have narrowed my decision down between the vera bradley diaper bag (16” x 12¼” x 6¼” – 13½" strap drop) versus the Cargo Sling (14"x 12½" x 5¾" — 46" adjustable strap). I need help deciding as I am due next month and am a first time mom! I don't want to carry a big honking bag if I don't need to. I like the fact that the cargo sling has an adjustable strap so I can wear it across my chest if need be and it's only a little smaller than the diaper bag. I don't know how much I am going to need to pack though so I don't know if those couple of inches are really going to make that much of a difference. I would really appreciate any opinions, words of advice, etc.!
I found myself as a new mom, packing my entire house up just to go to the grocery store. I found that a "sling" style bag worked best... i had both hands free to carry the baby's carrier, and the bag was not getting tangled up in my legs. It had several compartments for everything that i needed for her, and i still had room to carry my keys, wallet, phone and chapstick! good luck to you! think of it like a purse... the more room that you have, the more stuff youre going to put in there!
