Baby bottle and nipple questions help plz?
Ok so My daughter has been on the evenflo bottles and nipples and last month she turned 2 months and around that time she wasnt getting any formula out of the nipple and it kept collapsing so I went up to the medium flow nipple and its been about a month and now the medium is doing the same thing. She just isnt getting enought formula and she sucks so hard she is collapsing the nipple and she is only 3 months....should i go to the fast flow? it seems way to early for fast flow but the medium isnt giving her enough formula and I also bought more of the nipples thinking something was just wrong with that nipple and it does the same with the new ones........also since I have been having this problem I have been using the avent bottles I started using those for her at birth but they leaked alot and anyways now i am using those until i figure this out but I have that one on medium flow and that one is fine.....should i just stick to those even tho they leak and just deal with it or what?
I had the same problem with the evenflo Natural Shape bottles. These days they are making the nipples with "VENT" holes in them, if for any reason they get obstructed they will collapse. The problem is there isn't any air circulating in the bottle. It is kinda like opening a can of juice you always have to put the vent hole in it or it will pour out very slowly. The best bottle I found was the Gerber Natural. One other suggestion is simply take a safety pin and poke the the nipple. I hope this helps Good Luck
