The Girl Baby Diet - What Acidic Foods Should I Eat When I Want To Get Pregnant With A Girl Baby?
More and more, I'm seeing women warm up to the idea of changing their diet to influence their baby's gender or sex. I believe that this is partly due to the economy. Few couples are able to part with the thousands of dollars that choosing your baby's gender in a clinic takes.
Not only that, but tweaking the mother-to-be's diet is a very cheap and relatively easy way to influence whether you have a boy or a girl baby. (The father-to-be doesn't need to change his diet as he contributes both girl and boy making sperm regardless of what he eats.) This article will discuss the diet for the mother which will hopefully help the couple trying to conceive a girl baby.
The Foods That Are Recommended For Women Who Are Trying To Conceive A Girl: I believe that the "girl diet" is generally easier for most people than the "boy diet" because the foods to conceive a girl baby include more every day items that contain grain and dairy. And, the diet that encourages boy babies relies more on fruits and vegetables, which are lacking in many of our diets.
So, the dietary changes for conceiving a girl aren't often as drastic. That's not to say that you can't eat a balanced diet when you're trying for a daughter. There most definitely are fruits and vegetables that read acidic. (In general, you want to eat acidic rather than alkaline foods.) Examples are corn, some types of beans, squash, and olives. For fruits, good acidic sources would be plums, prunes, cranberries, blueberries, and glazed fruits.
In general, dairy (cheese, milk, yogurt) is a big part of the baby girl diet as are grains (bread, crackers, rice, oats, wheat, and pasta.) Most meats (beef, fish, pork) also read as acidic, as do many nut products (peanuts, peanut butter, cashews, and walnuts.) Also, many sugars and oils are acidic, which is a good thing in this scenario because these substances are unfortunately an every day occurrence in many of our diets.
Why It's Important To Test Your Results Even If You're On A Strict Acidic Diet: Unfortunately, I find that many people will just educate themselves in a general way and then try to move forward. They'll hope that in general, they can just load up on dairy, nuts, and meat and avoid fruits and vegetables and be good to go. This isn't really how it works. Because there are exceptions to every rule. There are acidic fruits and vegetables just as there are alkaline dairy, grains, and meats.
That's why not only do you often need a good food list, you also often need to test yourself to tell for sure how you are reacting to what you are eating. Some foods are thought to be acidic but turn alkaline when digested and metabolized. Also, the cooking methods and ripeness of what you are eating can also influence how your body responds to it. It's advisable to use PH testing strips on a regular basis to make sure that you are actually having the desired result. It would be quite unfortunate to think that the foods you are eating are making you more acidic only to find that you're becoming more alkaline instead (and are therefore increasing your chances of having a boy.)
Specific foods lists can be a great guideline, but it's always advisable to test just to make sure. This is also beneficial because it can help you to pinpoint the foods that are working best for you so that you can load up on those for quicker results. Also, testing helps you to make sure that you're as acidic as you need to be on the days approaching ovulation (when you should begin having sex and trying to conceive.)
Why Diet Is Not The Only Thing To Consider When You Are Trying To Have A Girl Baby: Tweaking your diet is one of at least three variables that you'll need to cover if you want to have the best chance of getting a girl. You will also want to look at your timing (since you want to conceive in the days leading up to ovulation rather than after it has already taken place.) And, you will also want to try to use sexual positions that allow for more shallow and controlled penetration.
Coming up with the best diet and regimen to conceive a girl isn't at all hard, especially if you use the tools that mean that you aren't just guessing or hoping for the best.

How To Get Pregnant With A Girl Baby
If you've found this article, I have to assume that you're trying to get pregnant and that you'd strongly prefer to conceive a girl baby rather than a baby boy. You probably suspect (or are at least researching) that there are natural, inexpensive ways that you can do this at home, without expensive medical intervention. This article will outline tips and advice that you will help you achieve this goal and will explain why these things work, (and how they work best.)
Understanding Baby Girl (X) Producing Sperm: First, I want to briefly go into how conception (with either gender) happens and how you can use some of the characteristics of the different sperm chromosomes to your advantage. The father-to-be's sperm contains X (girl) and Y (boy) producing chromosomes. Only one of these will be the first to fertilize the egg. If a Y wins, you get a boy and the opposite is true if the X does the job. In this trip to the egg, the boy sperm are by far the fastest, but also by far the weakest. They are seriously weakened and compromised by time and by your vaginal tract (and by the environment that they will encounter once there.)
Likewise, although the girl producing sperm are slow, they are by far the stronger of the two. Time and your vaginal PH do not affect them nearly as much. You can use this to your great advantage when it is time to conceive. I will outline how to do this below.
Tweaking Your Timing To Get Pregnant With A Baby Girl: So, now we know that time is on our side if we're trying to conceive a girl. It makes sense then to use this to your full advantage. The girl sperm can live for several days in your vaginal tract, but the boy can not. So, you should conceive 3 – 4 days before you will ovulate.
This sounds so easy, but this is where many women will miscalculate. So many women assume that they ovulate half way between their menstrual cycle and are wrong about this. Or, they will use methods taught to them by their mothers (basal temperature, cervical mucus, the rhythm method, etc.) without realizing that technology has given us much more reliable ways to know exactly when we can become pregnant.
I'm talking about ovulation predictors that take the guess work out of this equation. There are two kinds – saliva and urine. I've used both with success, but I much prefer the saliva kind as I believe they are more reliable and are able to give you more advanced notice. I like that they are reusable and that you can use them at any time during the day and not just first thing in the morning as is the case with urine (and urine predictors also give you only one chance per day.)
The Correct Sexual Positions To Help You Get Pregnant With A Baby Girl: So, we've talked about the trip that the sperm take to the egg and how we need to make this longer to weed out the boy sperm. One way that we do this (as we discussed above) is timing our conception in the early part of the fertility window. Another easy way to do this is by using sexual positions that place the sperm far away from the cervix. This is achieved through shallow penetration (missionary style, spooning, etc.) And, this gives the boy sperm a long trip that is hard for them to survive.
Why The Right PH Is Necessary If You Want A Baby Girl: Speaking of that long, hard trip, the final piece of the puzzle is creating a hostile environment that the boy sperm will encounter during this trip. As I've said before, Y sperm are very vulnerable and weak. A PH that is highly acidic is just another variable that helps to weed them out. Of everything that I've discussed, this is the variable that scares people the most. But, it's not as scary as it sounds. Tweaking your vaginal PH is not too difficult if you have the correct tools and it's only a temporary thing that you have to do until you reach the optimal level and then conceive.
The best way to make this easier is to know your level going in. This is accomplished using testing strips that are readily available. Once you know if you're naturally alkaline or acidic (and by how much) you'll then make the necessary adjustments and continue to test to see how quickly you are making progress.
You raise acidity in two ways. You douche or you go on a special diet. Or, if you're really impatient, you do both. Again, there are food lists and douche recipes out there that help to make this easier.
It's important to understand that all of these variables work together to give you a very high chance of success. But, you can't do just one and leave the others to chance. You have to approach this in a step by step, disciplined way. Pinpoint your ovulation date first and then get to work. Figure out your PH, adjust accordingly, and then when the time is right, use the sexual or intercourse positions that were outlined before.
