Snuggie baby blanket?
How many parents out there give your baby a snuggie bear baby blanket to cuddle with at night? My 6 month old daughter has gotten to the point that she won't falls asleep with out cuddling with hers. I take it out of the crib as soon as she's asleep, but she never used to have to have it. Could it be that she needs a comfort object to help her fall asleep? I don't have any problem with it at all, just wondering if it's normal and how many other parents use the snuggie bear blanket for their babies. (for those of you who don't know what it is, It's only about 10 inches x 10 inches with a teddy bear head on it)
yeah all i have to do when shes sleepy and wont nod off is grab her softee and bam thumb is in and her head is down. i used to be super worried about SIDS w/ it but like u i would remove it when she was around 3 monthes the Dr. said it was OK if she couldnt sleep w/o it cause she could raise up go and hold her head and roll over so the risk of sufficating was limited.she would just reposition her face out of it if she needed to. @ this point she was wakin alot if she didnt have a hand hold on it.
she is probably going to be a touch sensitive child they usually hate seams in socks or wool in sweaters.
if she is like mine she rubs the satin/velour part on her face:) so cute.
